Job description:
enza is seeking a dedicated Agile Coach / Scrum Master who will guide our teams in understanding and adopting Agile practices to deliver high-quality products efficiently. In this role, you will facilitate the continuous improvement of team processes, remove blockers, and ensure that agile methods and mindsets are practiced effectively throughout the organization.
Key responsibilities:
Agile Facilitation:
– Lead agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
– Ensure agile principles and values are upheld in all team interactions.
Coaching & Mentorship:
– Mentor team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles.
– Provide guidance on how to effectively organize and prioritize work, manage backlogs, and maintain a sustainable pace.
Process Improvement & Delivery:
– Identify and track impediments, bottlenecks, or risks and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to remove them.
– Promote continuous improvement by encouraging experimentation, measuring outcomes, and iterating to optimize team performance.
Stakeholder Management:
– Work closely with Product Owners to ensure product backlogs are well-groomed and prioritized in alignment with organizational goals.
– Liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners, ensuring transparency and effective communication around work in progress.
Leadership & Culture Building:
– Serve as a champion of agile culture, fostering an environment of collaboration, accountability, and shared ownership.
– Encourage team autonomy and self-organization, while providing the necessary support and guidance.
Reporting & Metrics:
Track and report on key performance indicators (e.g., velocity, quality metrics, sprint progress) to demonstrate team effectiveness and progress to leadership.
– Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements and enhance team delivery.
Qualifications:
Education:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
– Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience working as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, or similar role.
– Proven track record of coaching teams in Agile (Scrum, Kanban, XP, or other frameworks).
– Experience facilitating organizational change and scaling agile practices is a plus.
Certifications (Preferred):
– Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP, or similar.
Technical & Professional Skills:
– Familiarity with agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Cloud DevOps.
– Excellent facilitation and conflict-resolution skills.
– Solid understanding of project management techniques and software development life cycles.
Soft Skills:
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence, motivate, and coach individuals at all levels.
– Empathy and patience in helping teams adapt to new processes and mindsets.
– Proactive, solution-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
