Job description:

A highly experienced Senior e-commerce & Online Payments Specialist to lead the design, integration, and optimization of digital payment solutions across our online platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in payment gateway architecture, transaction flows, and scheme mandates (Visa, Mastercard, Meeza), with hands-on experience in platforms such as MPGS and CyberSource. Familiarity with tokenization, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and account updater services (ABU/VAU) is essential to ensure secure, seamless, and future-ready payment experiences.

Key responsibilities:

– Design and manage end-to-end eCommerce payment flows, including authorization, capture, refund, and reconciliation.

– Maintain payment gateways across the web and mobile platforms.

Implement and manage tokenization services, including support for Apple Pay, Google Pay, and stored credentials.

– Oversee ABU/VAU services to ensure seamless recurring billing and card-on-file updates.

– Ensure compliance with scheme mandates, PCI DSS, and local regulatory requirements.

– Collaborate with acquiring banks, schemes, and internal teams to implement new mandates and optimize payment performance.

– Monitor transaction success rates, identify failure patterns, and implement corrective actions.

– Lead payment-related projects including 3D Secure, fraud prevention, and alternative payment methods (APMs).

– Support onboarding of new merchants and payment methods.

– Document payment workflows, exception handling, and integration guides.

– Provide subject matter expertise during audits, certifications, and scheme reviews.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in business information system, Computer Science, or any technology sciences.

– 4-5 years of experience in eCommerce payments, payment gateway integration, or merchant acquiring.

– Good in both written and spoken Arabic, English/French languages.

– In-depth knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, and Meeza scheme mandates and compliance requirements.

– Strong understanding of payment gateway architecture, transaction routing, and authorization flows.

– Hands-on experience with MPGS, CyberSource, or similar platforms.

– Knowledge of ISO 8583

– Experience with tokenization, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and stored credential frameworks.

– Familiarity with ABU/VAU services and their role in recurring billing and COF management.

– Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, webhook handling, and payment orchestration.

– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret transaction data and optimize performance.

– Database knowledge and query logic.
